One of Windhoek’s early residences was tenderly restored to house the Wine Bar and Wine Shop and later extended for an expanded Wine Shop. It is located on what was previously known in Windhoek’s very early days as Windmill Hill because of the large windmill on the site with storage tanks below which provided the town’s initial water supply. The restaurant is currently being renovated. Keep an eye on social media for updates. The Wine Shop is Namibia’s foremost specialist wine shop with the largest selection of wines in all categories. The primary focus is on value for money and quality at every price point. Every price range is represented - from entry level, enjoyable everyday wines to the biggest selection of five star and auction wines available in Namibia. Be sure to visit our well appointed shop and enjoy a browse in it and receive advice about the wide range of wines on offer. Wines also make excellent gifts - both corporate and personal. We have several magnums on offer which are ideal gifts. Some are specially packed as well. Our extended hours are for your convenience.
